All You Need Is Love…
Today we came home from a nice weekend away at Lake Quinault Lodge. We had a very relaxing, peaceful couple days, and received the refreshment we so desperately needed. We had a ton of fun going on a 5-mile hike through thick forests, over cedar bogs and along the lake on Saturday. The scenery was breathtaking! We also had ample opportunity to play games, and get to know others from the church better, and we especially excited to meet David and Sara Scott. David is going to be the pastor of a new PCA church plant in Pierce county, and right now it’s really looking like they’ll start it in Puyallup! We had a great time, but we were definitely anxious to get home to the boys today, and were so happy to see them again. Maybe Grandma will be willing to babysit again next year, so we can go on another couples’ retreat getaway!

The Northwest is soooo beautiful!!! Texas is pretty dull in comparison. Thanks for sharing a part of your wonderful trip with us. Glad you had a great time!

The place looks so beautiful and it sounds like you had a great time. What a blessing!! Young people need breaks, even though the kids aren’t always happy campers being left behind.
