I just wanted to let everyone know that today Patrick went poop in the potty THREE times! In addition, he only had one accident today. And I’m not even pushing him the way I did this summer!!!
Could it be possible that he’s finally getting it? I think so!!!!
I found a little embroidery design you can buy that says, “I coo, I poo, That’s all that I can do”. Well, Ethan can do a few more things than that: he can smile, he can eat, he can sleep, and he can cry. He did laugh once, but I haven’t been able to get him to do it again. So, until he gets a little bigger, this is the typical Ethan video:

Granted, we think it’s cute, but I have to admit, it isn’t the most exciting video you can watch on the web. So… one of these days we’ll start posting more videos of Ethan, but for now I’m afraid our readers will have to content themselves to Patrick and Sammy. They’re silly enough as it is :o).

Oh, and before I forget, today was special because PATRICK WENT POOPOO IN THE POTTY ALL BY HIMSELF! I DIDN’T HAVE TO ASK HIM, HE JUST WENT! I hope this starts a trend. I’ve tried not to be too pushy with the potty training thing because I feel like it hinders our progress. I’ve tried to let Patrick go at his own pace, but I’m starting to get anxious to get him out of diapers. One of these days we’ll get it :o).
Well, after over a week of sickness, it seems like we might be over the worst of it. Patrick and Sammy, for the most part, seem to be doing much, much better. Sammy still seems slightly wheezy, and probably should be having more nebulizing treatments, but I haven’t done it in over a day now. Woops. Ethan, who was the last to get sick, is still slightly congested, but he isn’t coughing as much anymore, and he stopped throwing up on me every time I fed him. I’m so glad this sickness is over… it was hard with Patrick and Sammy being sick, but it was really rough when Ethan caught it. Now that we’re all on the mend, I’ve decided that it’s time for a good spring cleaning. I’ve started by washing all the sheets and blankets and the covers for the swing and carseat, and next all the stuffed animals are going in the wash and all the other toys are either going in the dishwasher or wiped down with disinfectant wipes. Once that’s done, I’m going to start sorting through everything so we can have a garage sale in May or June. There are many toys and baby items that aren’t being used around here, and it’s high time they found a home where they could actually be used!
Ethan laughed! Despite being sick, he still had a smile and a little giggle for Mommy. It was sweet :o).
